Jose graduated from Indiana University Northwest in December 2018. He's had many life challenges over the past years and has been dealing with his own personal sickness since he graduated, but he is in a place of maintenance and being a version of himself. Jose is in the best part of his life, so when he speaks it is out of experience and knowledge. Which makes everything in his practice relatable to the average person. Jose's ideal clients comes from many different walks of life, children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Jose's ideal client is looking for direction and change in their life and want a partner in change. Jose works with clients on anxiety, major depression, trauma, couples counseling, family therapy, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, oppositional-defiant disorder, substance abuse and LGBTQIA+ issues. Jose's treatment approach is eclectic and tailors evidence-based plans to meet the needs of his clients. He draws on the elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Care and Mindfulness Therapy.
