Shalandria Hawkins, MFT Intern

  • MFT - Marriage & Family Therapy Intern, Capella University
  • BS - Business Administration, University of Southern Mississippi

Shalandria graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Her 30+ years of experience in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and developing and maintaining client relationships aid in her ability to actively listen and extend empathy and compassion while developing practical solutions to client challenges. Shalandria is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She subscribes to the idea that it is the intricate influence of interaction, belief, culture, family and relationship that significantly impact how we see ourselves and the world around us. She utilizes strength-based holistic, hopeful approaches to create an environment conducive to deeper rational connection; helping clients to recognize their strengths and resilience, embrace their worth and value, articulate and work towards their desired outcome while minimizing the patterns and mindsets that paralyze and hinder their growth. She believes that through support, encouragement and empowerment, clients are inspired to live in a way that reflects wholeness and freedom. Shalandria welcomes incorporating spirituality into the healing process for those who share this desire.
