Amber Loe, MSW Intern

Amber has 20+ years of experience in the field of social work. She began working in 2003 for Mental Health America of NWI with the Healthy Families Program as a Family Support Specialist. She crossed trained after a few years and added on being a Family Resource Specialist. Amber was promoted to supervisor in 2008 with The Villages, who also had Healthy Families. She chose to go back to MHA in 2012 and continued as a supervisor. She relocated temporary to Peru, IN in 2023 and was a School Skills Trainer for 4C Health. After a little over a year with them, she felt she belonged with the Healthy Families program and has been back to MHA since 2024. Amber is currently working on her Master’s in Social Work at Walden University and is completing her internship with Crown Counseling. She is looking forward to becoming a school social worker and a therapist for children, adolescents and families once she completes her MSW.
