Cara has a background in both mental health and special education. She has experience with behavior management strategies as well as supportive learning environments. Cara is currently working towards a doctoral degree in clinical psychology, focusing on holistic and integrative approaches to overall mental health, motivation, and anxiety. Her counseling practice will incorporate evidence-based, client-centered care, using therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).
