"It’s not easy or simple for everybody. It can be tough, and sometimes it’s more than we can handle. Many people experience a number of struggles with few able to understand the situation or how it truly feels to be in your shoes. How could you be expected to tell someone what you’re going through, and then to get support from them is not always guaranteed? Sometimes, there isn’t anybody to say these things to in the first place. It’s a long and hard process, so you should make the experience your own, Keegan invites you to share your story with me and find what you need to get through your experience. Keegan's core value is to highlight that your lived experience is a first-time experience, and nobody has gotten to walk in your shoes the way you have, so my work should emphasize that for you. As a therapist, Keegan feels that it is his job to give you the space and freedom to say what needs to be said. Keegan is not here to fix you or tell you how you should have handled something. He simply offers another perspective wrapped in knowledge about development, relationships, systemic perspectives, and more and prioritize the lived experience of every individual as unique and subjective. Keegan's undergraduate education and current graduate-level education focus on the systemic interplay in each person’s own world and tie in therapeutic approaches to take those sociocultural functions and transform them into something meaningful that for individuals, their partners, friends, and families.
