Internship Program
We are now accepting Master's level internship applications for Summer and Fall of 2024. Internship opportunities are available in our outpatient setting, as well as, in Crown Counseling's School Program.
What to Expect:
Crown Counseling Internships are structured to provide a diverse and well-rounded clinical experience. The interns will be exposed to various modalities of treatment including individual, group, and family counseling. Interns will be expected to conduct and formulate diagnostic assessments and treatment plans. We offer weekly individual supervision with clinically licensed supervisors. Also, the interns will be able to receive support from fellow peers through our weekly clinical staffings. Our agency believes in harvesting the most skilled and trained staff; therefore, interns have the ability to further their skills through paid trainings and in-services. We pride ourselves on our supportive and family oriented workplace and allow individuals to make their own schedules.
This is an advanced internship placement and we are looking for individuals who have used clinical intervention and diagnostic skills in the past. You must be willing to commit at least 6 months to our clients. You must be willing to work independently and be open to working with a diverse clientele. We prefer internship programs which allow interns to do fieldwork.
Requirements to apply for an internship position are as follows:
Most recent Graduate level transcripts.
At least one letter of recommendation from clinical faculty at your institution.
Cover letter and curriculum vitae.
All candidates should email all necessary documents to Jennifer Miner (jenniferm@crowncounseling.org)
