School-Based Therapy
Crown Counseling offers School-based Therapy in various schools located in several districts. School based therapy is an available service for children and their families and it is provided within their school. Therapists are on site in the school and involved with children through individual, group, and/or family therapy. School therapy allows therapists to intervene to provide your child with support in their academic setting. Therapists are available to be part of the case conferencing process and to assist in managing challenging behaviors. The goal of school therapy is to decrease behavioral and emotional challenges in your child to ensure that your child reaches their full academic potential.
School Based Therapy can include:
Healthy Relationships Program : This program targets the prevention of violence through the promotion of positive, healthy relationships. Ours is a proactive, competency-enhancement approach rather than a treatment. The Healthy Relationships Program is a small groups program (6-25 youth) and has been enhanced to include a strengthened focus on mental health and suicide prevention, and drug and alcohol use. Contact us for appointments.
Cyber Cool High School Program : This is a program developed to help prevent and manage cyber bullying.
